My name is Gabrielle Hervey, and it is both an honor and a deeply personal privilege to continue the legacy of Beanstalk Childcare & Academy as I step into ownership and leadership. This program was founded by my Aunt Jacque Brown and my late Uncle Freddie Brown, whose vision was to create a nurturing, structured environment where children could thrive and families felt supported. Their belief was simple yet powerful: when you invest in the earliest years of a child’s life, you change the trajectory of their future.
That mission did not end with them — it lives on through me.
Beanstalk is not just a business I am taking over; it is a family legacy I am committed to protecting, strengthening, and growing. I have been closely involved in the program and its daily operations, and I carry forward the same values that have guided Beanstalk from the beginning: safety, compassion, structure, learning, and community.
As a leader, mother, and dedicated childcare professional, I understand the trust families place in us each day. The first years of life are the foundation for everything that follows, and I am fully committed to ensuring every child in our care receives the attention, encouragement, and developmental support they deserve. My vision is to honor what has always made Beanstalk special while continuing to expand and enhance the experience for our children and families.
