Our Story
Hi, I’m Gabrielle “Gabbie” Hervey, the proud owner of Beanstalk Childcare & Academy. Our center has been a trusted part of the Omaha community for over two decades, serving families with care, consistency, and love. I’m honored to continue that legacy and lead Beanstalk into its next chapter.
My journey with Beanstalk began more than 20 years ago — I was the first employee when my Aunt Jacque and my late Uncle Junebug opened the doors. From the very beginning, I watched their hard work, heart, and dedication create a place that felt like home for so many families. To now stand in this position and continue the legacy they built truly means the world to me.
Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, and I understand how important these early years are for every family. I believe in creating a space that feels warm, safe, and filled with opportunities for every child to learn and grow.
At Beanstalk, our mission is to nurture the whole child — socially, emotionally, and academically — through a loving and structured environment. We focus on positive reinforcement, creative play, and developmental learning, helping every child build confidence and curiosity.
For our older students, we offer school-readiness programs that encourage independence, teamwork, and a love for learning. From the youngest babies in our care to the oldest students preparing for kindergarten and beyond, our goal is to make sure each child feels valued, supported, and inspired every day.
Beanstalk Childcare & Academy isn’t just a daycare — it’s a family, and continuing the legacy of Aunt Jacque and Uncle Junebug is both my purpose and my passion.
