The story behind Beanstalk

Beanstalk Childcare & Academy was founded by Jacque Brown and the late Freddie Brown with a simple but powerful belief: investing in a child’s earliest years can change the direction of their future.

What began as their vision for a nurturing, structured environment became a trusted part of the Omaha community—a place where children could thrive and families could feel supported.

The legacy continues

Today, Gabrielle “Gabbie” Hervey carries that mission forward as owner and director. For Gabbie, Beanstalk is more than a business. It is a family legacy she is committed to protecting, strengthening and growing.

As a mother and childcare leader, Gabbie understands the trust families place in Beanstalk each day. Her vision is to honor the foundation established by Jacque and Freddie while continuing to improve the experience for children, parents and staff.
